Competition Description: Purpose of event - Compete - An opportunity for schools to select a team of Athletes to compete against other schools.

Years 3&4 combined / Mixed Gender
Years 5&6 combined / Mixed Gender

Team of 8 to consist of:

4 x boys
4 x girls

One team per age group

School teams only - Partnerships may enter different schools for each age category

Year 3 & 4 pupils competition
Four boys and four girls compete as a team with the scores from the four events added together to give the team score

The four events take place in a rotational sequence

Each athlete is placed in a pool and competes in all events

All track events will be timed and points awarded accordingly

50m sprint
400m run
Mini vortex howler throw
Standing long jump
50m shuttle relay

All athletes to do a 50m sprint, mini vortex howler throw, standing long jump and 400m run plus relay

Year 5 & 6 pupils competition
